One woman recently decided that she was going to be relocating. However, she did not want to take her pets along with her for the experience. She decided to take to Craigslist to try to find someone who would be willing to take her pets off her hands permanently.
Craigslist seems to be a popular place lately for people to dump their pets on other people. It seems that some pet lovers are starting to respond to this trend. When the woman talked about what an ordeal it would be for her to move the pets with her, one pet owner made a point to make a statement.
This pet owner posted a picture of her own pet dog and kitten. This poster said that she too had pets, and she too had moved (3 times in fact!), and that moving pets could be a hassle. However, she loved her animals and did not want to see them put into the care of just anyone.
That is why she moved her pets with her each and every time she traveled to a new living arrangement. Sure, it may not be for everyone she reasoned, but these were pets and not property, and they deserved to be treated as such.
Different people had different responses to this situation, but everyone certainly had an opinion about it. Pet owners can get very serious about the love that they have for their animals. They hate to see it when others are not showing the same respect and kindness towards their own pets.
