The news of a pregnancy is usually joyous, but there are times when the news is awkward. A family of five, consisting of pregnant mother, husband and three young boys were about to travel home in their mini van after visiting her doctor’s office.
Before they got started, the father showed the boys a strip of ultrasound pictures. He asked his sons what they thought these were pictures of. The brothers sitting directly in back of their parents, giggled .
On the benched seat behind his brothers, sat the third brother who remained quiet while his two brothers started giggling. He was the eldest. The boy who was directly behind his father was named Carson. Carson giggled and said he thought it was his mother’s eyes at her nose.
The father pointed out that the subjects in the picture had arms. He showed his offsprings two pictures and said they were of the two babies. Carson insisted those were his mother’s nostrils. The eldest boy started to cry when his father explained the ultra sound device went over their rmother’s belly. The oldest brother did not want two more babies in the family.
The father told the boys that Mommy is pregnant.”Did you notice Mommy’s belly was little bigger than it was?” The brother sitting behind Mommy was elated, “Yeah?” He was happy that Mommy was pregnant. Carson denied it and still said the picture was of her nostrils. The eldest son cried out, “Great, twins that I can’t tell apart.”
