Men have differing opinions when it comes to body hair on their female counterparts – some men hate it while others love it. However, one woman found out how cruel people can be to women who have body hair. She decided to post a picture of herself in her underwear, and subsequently received a lot of negative responses from both men and women for the photo.
People told her that she was disgusting, one person told her that she should “buy a razor instead of underwear”. After the woman received all the negative feed, she decided to explain why she posted the picture. She reasoned that she is very comfortable with herself and proud of the way her body looks. Although the woman received a lot of negative comments, she did receive some support from other women.
They stated that the woman should not let others make her feel bad about her body. They also applauded her for promoting a natural body image. The woman, whose name is Suraiya, was recently interviewed. She stated that she received just as much positive comments as negative comments.
Suraiya also stated that no one should dictate what a woman should embrace. Suraiya believes that if a woman wants to shave, then she should shave. However, if the woman does not mind being hairy, then Suraiya believes that she should not be shamed for it.
