Dogs are naturally curious creatures that are very eager to explore their environments, whether they’re outside or sitting at home. This can sometimes lead to rather funny situations, as canines will occasionally be afraid of some rather strange things. Of course, many are a bit nervous around vacuum cleaners or remote controlled toys, but you will find a few dogs that seem terrified of regular household objects and even fruits.
One video that recently went viral shows a corgi named Turbo, who was outside playing in his owner’s yard. A turtle came along as Turbo was laying down on the lawn. The dog ignored it at first, perhaps thinking that it was just some kind of oddly colored rock. The surprise came when the turtle started to move.
Turbo seemed very surprised and jumped up, visibly shaken that a rock suddenly seemed to come to life. The dog took a few steps back and started barking at the turtle, which continued on walking at a slow pace just like turtles typically do.
By creating the video, the owner wanted to share with the world how his dog would react to an animal that he meets for the very first time. While the turtle was quite docile and seemed to pay little attention to the corgi, the dog was very alarmed. He kept on barking, possibly in an effort to warn the humans that something strange was happening nearby.
