VIDEOL She Pours Milk Into The Snow. The Result? So AWESOME!

We’re entering the winter season, and if you live in a colder climate you are sure to have an abundance of snow on your front porch. Did you know you can use that snow to make delicious, homemade ice cream? It’s so simple to do.

Assemble all of the necessary ingredients: heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and snow. The basic recipe calls for roughly five to six cups of freshly fallen snow. Try to find the cleanest possible snow, which is usually the top layer of snow that hasn’t been walked on.

In a measuring cup, whisk together a 1/3 cup of heavy cream, one teaspoon of vanilla extract, and two to three tablespoons of sugar. Pour the mixture into the bowl filled with snow and mix it until it takes on an ice cream consistency.

Another fun variation to this recipe is chocolate snow ice cream. Simply add one tablespoon of 100% dark cocoa into the cream mixture before pouring it into the snow. Stir it until you’ve reach the desired consistency and then serve it up with your favorite toppings.

This is a great activity to do with the kids on a snow day. It’s a fun way to sneak in a math lesson by allowing them to help measure out the ingredients, and the best part is that you’ll be making cherished memories for years to come.
