Here is something that will make you smile! When a little boy and his parents visited the San Diego Zoo they had no idea he had a playmate waiting for him inside – in the form of an otter!
As the cute little boy approached the otter tank, an otter approached him as well and started following him from inside the tank. As the boy ran back and forth in front of he tank, the otter followed him and appeared to be racing him from side to side.
Happy spectators could not hold back their laughter as this adorable duo played together. They both appeared to be having a spectacular time!
Just as you would start to wonder if the otter was indeed following the boy or simply swimming back and forth in the tank, the little boy decided to try to trick the otter by changing directions at different times than he had previously done. Surprisingly, the otter was quick on his mark and changed directions just as fast as the boy! Otters are very intelligent and can exhibit dog like behavior but games like the ones exhibited at San Diego Zoo that day are few and far between.
Luckily this little guy’s parents were quick on their mark and decided to record the whole incident on their phone, ensuring that this is one special memory that can be relived over and over again for the years to come. As an added bonus the video has brought joy to many people as the video has gone viral!
