Parents are tired. No doubt about it. However, trying to get in those precious few moments of sleep is not always as easy as it sounds. This baby does her best to entertain herself instead of napping with her mommy. At mom’s expense of course.
The resulting video is as precious as it is hilarious. This poor mom is trying to catch a quick nap. At first, the baby seems to be content to just lay next to mom, but soon she decides that maybe mom needs to be awake also.
How this mom made it through this without laughing is a miracle. The baby positions herself with her head next to mom where tiny little hands can reach mom’s face. First tactic, stick a finger up mom’s nose. That didn’t work. How about a little fist patting on the chin. Mom stays still, so baby decides that she needs some love and climbs on mom to give her repeated kisses.
This tactic did not work, so baby decides that perhaps laying across mom’s face will do it. No luck. Pulling hair, poking an eye, pounding on her forehead, and a couple of slaps in the face don’t work either. Another little finger up the nose. Perhaps laying on her face again will do it.
Suddenly the little girl lets out a gaseous mixture from the area that she has strategically placed on her mommy’s face. Nap over. Mom is up. Baby wins with a huge giggle and a smile.
