Over the past several days, Raleigh, North Carolina has seen its fair share of snowfall. This means many of the city’s children are taking to the parks with sleds and other toys. You probably remember being a small child and sledding down a hill with the wind blowing in your face. The feeling is exhilarating!
Lion’s Park in Raleigh got much more fun than they bargained for on Tuesday of last week. Many children were in the midst of a snowball fight, and police officers who were surveying the area to ensure safety decided to join in on the fun!
The News & Observer shared the video included on this page to demonstrate that there are still great police officers left in the world. In the video, the officers can be seen hopping on sleds and soaring down hills with the children. They are also clobbered with snowballs, and they even throw their fair share back at the kids.
