According to Alexis’s mother, the reason that the family dog Dakota is jumping up and down with Alexis is Dakota’s love for shadows. Whether this is the case or not what is evident is that Alexis and Dakota are enjoying the moment and are enjoying each other. Whatever the activity, Dakota and Alexis are forming a bond that can not be broken.
There is nothing more priceless than a child’s laughter and that child’s interaction with the family pet. Who knows for sure? Maybe this was Dakota’s way to get Alexis to play with him. In any case this is a priceless moment which triggers that childlike glee on the inside of all of us.
