This video shows the tender interaction between a dog owner and her old dog. The owner regularly goes out for walks to get the benefits of fresh air and exercise. However, the owner attempted to take only the younger dog with her and leave the older one at home. The older dog would have nothing of it and raised such a gentle fuss that the owner came up with this heartwarming compromise.
Admittedly, the woman staged the video and hammed it up, but there were no actors involved in the video at all. The old pug dog could barely stand and even then tilted slightly to the right. Its big eyes were tired, but loving and it could be heard faintly whimpering as she was setting out for a walk with the able bodied dog.
In the next scene, she is seen twirling around with her big doe-eyed dog in her arms. She placed him inside a specially made dog stroller called a “dogger”. The two embark on a walk and at various times in the clip, she’s seen pointing things out to the dog which is just happy to be with his master.
For its part, the dog was so old on it lay on its side not having the strength to sit. Despite its frailty, it enjoyed being part of the action. Dogs serve their masters faithfully with loyalty this is never questioned. When their bodies can no longer bear them up, shouldn’t the master display some protective loyalty back to them? This one owner did just that.
