If you can conjure up in your mind the thought of an owl and a bunny rabbit, you probably came up with an image of an owl swooping down and making lunch out of an unsuspecting rabbit. Contrary to that thought, this video is very different.
Shown in the clip is both an owl and a bunny sitting side by side appearing to be dozing off or taking a nap. There is a person, who is most likely taping the encounter, petting the owl at first and then switches to petting the bunny rabbit, and then back to the owl. The two sit next to each other very peacefully and appear as if they are friends and are just relaxing together.
They do not seem to be weary of each other at all and genuinely seem to enjoy each other’s company. The bunny almost seems like it is dozed off to sleep as it is kind of just lying there quietly. The video leaves you with a good feeling as it seems like a very peaceful and loving environment that the two very different animals find themselves in.
Typically it would seem like an owl is much larger than a bunny rabbit, but the owl in this video is rather small, even a tad bit smaller than the bunny. Perhaps it is a misconception that owls are fairly large birds, or the owl in the video may just be very young. Either way, this is a feel good video that shows two unlikely animals enjoying each other’s company.
