Ladies, our husbands mean well, you just have to have some patience with them. When you have a neighbor that is sick and you need some groceries, it’s important to make a list. If you are making pound cake, for example, you just need a few small things.
You need a few eggs and milk. You also need some flour and sugar. It’s nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. When you have a husband who buys 5 pounds of flour for one pound cake, when he only needs one pound, you just have to laugh.
When you have a husband who buys 12 dozen eggs, when all he needs is one dozen, you begin to shake your head. When your husband holds up the line, just because he bought all things he shouldn’t have, all you can do is laugh.
Ladies, you can’t blame your husband for what he doesn’t know. Yes you gave him the list, but you can’t expect him to get it all right. Men aren’t wired the same way as women are. Ladies, the next time you have a neighbor that is sick and you want to make a pound cake, go to the grocery store yourself.
