Some of the most popular videos posted on YouTube are those involving pets and how much they add enjoyment and amusement to our daily lives. And some of the best of these involve cats because they are well known to be one of the most curious breeds of creature on the planet.
One of the most recent pet videos posted on the popular social media sharing site involves a very brave kitten who encounters an unlikely intruder in the middle of the room. The audience sees the kitten, which looks about 10 weeks old, briskly stroll into a room. The curious cat’s attention is suddenly drawn to a yellow object in the center of the floor that requires more investigation.
As the kitten approaches cautiously, the audience can see that the yellow invader is simply a tennis ball. But what fun the cat has as it approaches its prey, suddenly darting toward the ball and making it appear to come alive by causing it to roll slightly.
The kitten continues to dart from one position to the next, jumping straight up into the air and arching its back as it confronts the yellow intruder, taking time out from his attack at one point to scratch his ear.
After a few minutes, the kitten decides that the ball poses no threat either to him or anyone else in the household and he scampers off, searching for another adventure or perhaps to take a well-deserved nap.
