VIDEO: This Bull Was Set To Be Slaughtered. What One Woman Did To Save It Is GREAT!

Dudley was a baby bull who was taken away from his mother when he was only a few months old. He was sold to a cattle rancher who was planning to sell him for slaughter. However, not too long after he was separated from his mother, he had a piece of twine wrapped around his foot. It cut off the blood flow to his foot, and he ended up losing his foot.

The cattle rancher made the decision to give him to the Gentle Barn, which is a foundation and animal sanctuary that is located in Santa Clarita, California.

This place is a home for over 170 rescued animals. He wanted to see if they would be able to take Dudley. Thanks to Jay Weiner and Ellie Laks, the cofounders of the place, Dudley would not be slaughtered. Ellie in particular is very close to this baby bull, and watching them interact is a lot like watching a mother and child.

After the bull had been taken care of for months, he still had trouble standing for long stretches of time. He was then fitted with a prosthetic leg that would let him walk again. this video captures his first steps, with Le looking on just like a proud mother would look at her child.

This is such a nice moment, and it is so great that Dudley got a second chance in a few ways. It is great that a prosthetic leg was designed so he could live happily.
