In this video, you’ll see an adorable white kitten encounter a large black hairy toy spider with glowing red eyes.
The kitten’s initial reaction was fear as it leaped about three inches off the floor. Next, the kitty began several attempts to draw close to the spider only to retreat each time. It didn’t help matters that the spider was remote controlled and could move its legs in the direction of the kitty. Still, the kitten had the home field advantage and displayed excellent command of the stone tile floor. It used this knowledge repeatedly to slide across the floor either to escape the spider or attempt to pounce it.
The kitten even tried to knock the spider from side using its paw, but just couldn’t muster up the courage to stand toe to toe with the dreadful looking arachnid. It was at this time the spider went on the offensive. The kitty proved to be no match for it, and it took to flight. The images of the kitten on the run are priceless. However, the antagonistic relationship soon turned amicable.
The final image is of the kitten reclined against the side of the sofa with the spider positioned on the arm rest in close proximity. The kitten is seen gently playing with one of the spider’s legs. Perhaps it is a case of all’s well that ends well. It certainly seemed to be the case for this lovable fuzz ball that won over a creepy spider on Halloween.
