You may not think of dogs is being ticklish, but the truth is that some are. Whether all dogs like it or not, Butch is a 138 pound Rottweiler who definitely seems to like it a great deal. His reaction to being tickled, and even the anticipation of being tickled, is priceless.
When his owner approaches and says, “I’m gonna tickle you,” Butch immediately starts growling. The noises get louder and louder until he is howling. When he is actually being tickled, he just continuously howls. He does not seem to dislike it, because at his size, he could easily move away.
He just lies there and allows his owner to continue tickling him, and he seems to really enjoy this game. You can tell from watching a video of this game is that this has happened several times before, and Butch knows exactly what is going to happen as soon as his owner utters the word “tickle” in his presence.
It is always funny to observe animal behavior. They can often be so much like humans that it is hard to believe. They have their own distinct personalities, and they are very interesting in their own ways. Butch is just one example. You would think that a dog that is that large would be a monster and potentially even harmful to other people, but he seems like a friendly dog who loves playing with his owner. It just goes to show that even with dogs, appearances can be deceiving.
