Cookies are probably one of the most universally loved foods in the world– everyone has a favorite! The problem, though, is that most recipes require an oven and long cooking times, as well as large batches.
Thankfully, Jamaica Bravo from jumblejoy.com has the solutiion: not one, but three recipes for how to make one delicious cookie in under a minute, using your microwave!
In these simple recipes, Jamaica shows us how to make peanut butter cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies, and classic chocolate chip cookies in a coffee mug!
For peanut butter cookies, just mix a tablespoon of butter with a tablespoon of brown sugar and a tablespoon of white sugar, then toss in the egg yolk and a tablespoon of peanut butter with three tablespoons of flour.
To make oatmeal raisin, mix a tablespoon of coconut oil with the same sugar mixture as before, mix, and then add a tablespoon of apple sauce, and a quarter teaspoon of vanilla extract. Add a dash of cinnamon, a quarter cup of oat flour and a quarter cup of oats. As you mix, toss in as many raisins as you’d like.
Chocolate chip cookies need tablespoons of butter, brown sugar, and white sugar all mixed. Add three tablespoons of flour, a pinch of salt, and two tablespoons of chocolate chips.
Once these mixtures are in your microwavable mug, pop them in for 60 seconds. Make sure you check at 40, to see if they might be already done.
