VIDEO: The Orphanage Was Going To Put Her On The Street, Until THIS Happened…

A six-year-old girl spent her entire life in a Ukrainian orphanage with a small chance of being adopted due to an illness she has. Danica suffers from Treacher-Collins syndrome, which is a medical issue that caused young Danica to be hearing impaired and have facial bones missing. Her syndrome made people cautious about adopting a special needs child. If she wasn’t adopted she might be put out on the streets to fend for herself.

A Texas couple, Thom and Tami Wetmore were the first couple that visited Danica in the orphanage. The Wetmores had a biological daughter named Juliana, who also suffers from Treacher-Collins syndrome.

Juliana is deaf and is missing about 40 percent of the bones in her face. Once the couple saw Danica, they knew that she belonged in their family. After the couple had brought Danica home to live with them, Juliana and Danica became best friends.

The only home Danica had ever known was the Ukrainian. Now Danica has a new home in Texas that she has enjoyed for the last several years. Juliana and Danica also now have more siblings with special needs that have been adopted into their family. While at first you might be surprised by how Juliana or Danica look, it doesn’t take long for you to see the love they have to share with each other and the people around them. The Wetmore family is a great example of love being more important than the way a person looks
