VIDEO: Something Spectacular Is About To Pop Up Out Of Nowhere In This Forrest. WOW!

Do you like watching time-lapse videos about nature? The San Francisco Globe recently posted an excerpt from a documentary feature with an interesting claim from a visionary author that may change how you look at mushrooms.

Paul Stamets is a mycologist who firmly believes that mushrooms are going to save the world. At least, that is what he claims in a 3D documentary by Louie Schwartzberg. His central tenant is that nature is intelligent and that we must learn to communicate with nature. He claims this will take a paradigm shift in our conciousness, as we currently can’t speak the different languages that nature speaks.

He is doing his part to talk with nature by studying what he calls ‘the fungal networks that communicate with the ecosystem.’ He also states that nature is a force for good. It is also a spirit of goodness, which we can hope lives on even if we never learn to do as he advocates. He thinks that if we don’t learn how to communicate with nature, we will destroy ourselves as well as the species with whom we can’t communicate.

The video graphics are gorgeous. It also has a nice soundtrack. If you are a fan of ‘Blue Planet’ or similar documentaries, you will enjoy the visuals of mushrooms growing from the ground and from logs even if you find Paul Stamets and his message a little nutty.
