VIDEO: Simon Cowell Flips Out When He Hears A 160-Person Chorus Sing This Song. Stunning…

The number of times “Hallelujah” has been covered is probably far too many to count. From Celine Dion to competitors on shows and stages, the song has certainly gotten its fair share of attention. So when a choir on Britain’s Got Talent came onstage to perform the song, there was no doubt an expectation on how the performance would go.

Yet, when a 160-plus person Welsh choir called Cor Glanaethwy gave their rendition for a semi-final performance on Britain’s Got Talent, the audience and the judges, got more than they had anticipated.

Although it started out relatively normal, when the choir grew louder near the end and then finished with their last note, their passion expanded from themselves to the audience, who even waved lights in the air as the choir sang. After the choir finished the audience and all four judges gave them a standing ovation.

Simon Cowell, during the judgement after the performance, stated that they might be looking at the winners for Britain’s Got Talent. Cowell continued his praise and the other judges, especially Alesha Dixon, agreed with him, saying that the performance was “powerful” and was a “highlight” for the entire night.
