VIDEO: She Puts Pounds Of Salt Into A Vase. What She Ends Up With Is The Perfect Idea

Now that the holiday season is here, the time to get out all of the Christmas decorations and the many yearly sentimental treasures from years gone by, out of their hiding places for all to see.

The tree goes up and is dressed with beautiful lights and all of the ornaments that mean so much. It’s time to get creative because every year, along with all of the routine things we do to decorate, it is always nice to come up with something new to add to the beauty.

The most elegant decorations are sometimes the easiest and made from simple, ordinary things that most of us already have in our homes. A noticeable arrangement that is simple and quick to make is to get out a large clear vase and pour 2 containers of everyday salt into the bottom, place a few small Christmas trees and a couple of small pine cones and there you have a snow scene.

To add to the beauteous scene, take a couple of large vanilla scented candles and place cinnamon sticks around it using hot glue, when lit, smells like Christmas cookies. To top it off with a cheerful greeting or message of Joy, take empty, washed out soup cans and spray paint them gold, silver or any Christmas color and punch out the letters by using a metal gator hole punch and place a candle down inside and light up your message.

When these simple ideas are put together, you’ll have an arrangement to envy by all of your holiday guests and family members.
