VIDEO: Cops Drag 68 Year Old Off Plane & Jails Her For 3 Days For Something We All Do

A woman was arrested for a crime very few people expect: the crime of changing seats. Most people know that airplanes have different laws and rules about seating; however, few people expect to be arrested when changing to an empty seat.

Mamakos, a 68 year old woman who was simply trying to fly to Seattle, was arrested because she moved from her current seat to another seat she thought was better. Unbeknown to her, that cost her a $109 charge. A stewardess came forward and asked her if she would like to pay the $109 upgrade fee. When Mamakos said no, she would not, she went back to her seat without much of a fuss.

She did not expect what happened next. The stewardess talked to her coworkers. They asked Mamakos if she wanted to pay the flight change fee. She said no. The airline asked Mamakos to remove herself from the plane. She said she would not, as she had returned to her seat without hassle and done everything the stewardess had asked.

The police were called, and forcefully removed Mamakos from the plane. Because the courts were not open, Mamakos was forced to spend three days in jail as she waited for her bond. She was humiliated, her vacation was ruined, and she was absolutely furious. She is reportedly suing the airline she used because of what happened.
