VIDEO: Republicans Edited The State Of The Union To Censor Out This. They Are The Worst!

The authorized website for House republicans has made a post of YouTube of an edition of President Obama’ State of the Union speech that cuts out remarks where the Head of State was serious about republican rhetoric concerning climate change- ThinkProgress has learned.

In the site’s “enhanced webcast” of the President’s State of the Union Speech, the comments of the president criticize Republicans since they said that they are “not scientists” on matters concerning the changes in climate, are deleted.

At the 43.25 minute spot, President Obama is expected to say “I’ve heard some folks try to dodge the evidence by saying they’re not scientists; that we don’t have enough information to act. Well, I’m not a scientist, either. But you know what- I know a lot of really good scientists at NASA, and NOAA, and at our major universities. The best scientists in the world are all telling us that our activities are changing the climate, and if we do not act forcefully, we’ll continue to see rising oceans, longer, hotter heat waves, dangerous droughts and floods, and massive disruptions that can trigger greater migration, conflict, and hunger around the globe.”

Instead, the whole section is left out. Obama’s remarks recommence with “The Pentagon says that climate change poses immediate risks to our national security. We should act like it.” The 43:25 minute juncture is among places of the video that are incomplete. At the 44:51 minute spot, a part is not there where Obama talked about respecting “human dignity”, barring torture, and campaigning against anti-Semitism.
