VIDEO: Orphaned Owl’s Amazing Rescue. From Hatching To Being Released. WOW!

It was when workers at a construction site found a great horned owl nest held up work at the construction site that the nest was removed by construction workers. Two eggs were found in the nest and taken to a nearby California Fish and Wildlife Center. The eggs were then transferred to Gold Country Animal Rescue in Placer County, CA, where a young bird miraculously hatched from one of the eggs.

Workers at the animal rescue center began feeding and caring for the baby bird. Within ten days the bird had begun to grow and by day 17 was thriving. For the next months the crew at the rescue center continued to care for the bird, as it began turning into a beautiful owl, meant for the wild.

As the owl became acclimated to its surroundings the workers continued to feed and care for the bird. By the 108th day of the owl’s rescue, the owl had grown, was healthy and able to join his natural habitat. The owl restless to fly, and yearning for freedom flew into the wild on the 108th day of captivity. The owl spread his wings and flew into the forest for the first time since rescue.

This young owl is only one of thousands birds and other species that are rescued by wildlife rescue centers, where they grow into healthy, thriving animals. Wildlife rescue centers, such as Gold Country are giving the world’s animals the chance to write their story across nature’s forests and fly into nature’s blue skies.
