VIDEO: Inside This Cave Is Something That Made My Jaw Hit The Floor. STUNNING!

Lee Cowan did a small interview about Ra Paulette’s amazing man made sandstone caves in northern New Mexico. Ra’s work is called his “Wilderness Shrines” and are unique and magnificent in size and quality of the work that goes into the process.

Ra has done a dozen livable art caves to date for various private land owners in the last 25 years. One cave in particular took Ra two full years to complete. Ra creates the artwork for the love of creating the man made caves by only using only hand tools.

Ra only makes about $12 an hour for his cave digging and will put a few years into each individual cave creation. Ra was followed for 3 years to make an award winning documentary.

Ra’s creations are an amazing creation that can have wood floors, running water, bath tubs, and even electricity. Ra has 2 creations currently up for sale by the owners who commissioned the work for almost a million dollars each.

Ra gives each work of art its own name, like the “Tree of Human Kindness” and his last work of art that is in progress will be a healing place with a waterfall and it will be his crowning glory. Ra wants people to feel at peace and get a deeper feeling and understanding of themselves and life.
