There are moments to look forward to in every child’s life: first step, first word, and first best friend! What an adorable moment, when Amy walked in on her two-year old daughter Layla and her best friend Alfie cuddling on the couch during a snooze time. Alfie, the Bull Terrier, lovingly has his paws around Layla, while Layla rearranges Alfie’s paws and snuggles herself close to him.
Layla lovingly talks to Alfie, holds his paws in her hands, and wraps them tighter around her waist. She kisses his face affectionately, while he calmly and tenderly enjoys the innocent time the two friends have to snuggle together.
Alfie lays perfectly still allowing Layla to pet his head, sit between his paws, and chatter to him. He even seems to fall asleep while his best friend cuddles with him.
Mom says that Alfie loves his afternoon naps with Layla as is clear in the video. Alfie is gentle and loving, and it is clear that Layla adores him, as well.
