VIDEO: I Never Knew The Right Way To Peel A Mango Until Now. AWESOME!

Mangos are delicious and very high in fiber. A single serving of the fruit contains 26g of fiber. Diets high in fiber prevent constipation, foster better digestion, and even reduce the risk of heart disease and type II diabetes. The fruit is also high in vitamin A which is needed for healthy lungs and physical endurance. It also has folic acid which is vitamin B with some healthy ingredients to promote healthy pregnancies and combat anemia.

That said, peeling them is a bit of a bugger and quite literally a sticky proposition. However, one video has a novel approach to peeling a mango that will let you get to the healthy and sweet flesh without the ordinary hassle of peeling the fruit. How the mango is peeled is by first halving it lengthwise with a sharp knife. The person then takes the one of the mango halves and peels back the edge of peel enough to fold up the lip and then rubs the peel against the rim of a beer glass.

This causes the mango flesh to detach from the peel and slide into the glass. What is left is a cleanly peeled mango skin. Simply repeat the same motion for the remaining mango half and voila! You now have the entire mango peeled cleanly inside of 30 seconds.

Needless to say, this is better than the traditional way people have of peeling mangoes that involves trying to notch out sections of the peel and lifting it off. Forget the old method and give this new method a try.
