Dogs and dolphins might not seem to go together. However, this might be news to Maverick the German Shepard. Maverick and his owner are having fun on their boat, while being filmed in action. Meanwhile, sleek grey shapes break the boundary of water and air. The forms quickly move through the water, making it clear that they’re dolphins.
Of course while that’s clear to humans, Maverick seems to not quite know what to make of these strange creatures. As the dolphins plan in the water, it becomes increasingly clear that Maverick wants in on the action. With only a little hesitation, he finally leaps out of the moving boat and into the water. Unfortunately for Maverick the dolphins aren’t as interested in him as he is with them. The dolphins make a quick exit, leaving Maverick to flail in the water.
Thankfully, his owners quickly notice and are able to slow the movement of the boat. Of course, once again being a dog somewhat hinders Maverick’s view of things.
All he knows is that his owners and the safety of a dry boat are still slowly moving away. He lets out a plaintive cry, and his owners urge him to swim to the boat.
Finally getting the idea, Maverick makes his way back to the boat. His owners are besides themselves with amusement as Maverick finally gets back on board. Instead of moping, Maverick quickly perks up at the attention now that he’s once more safely next to his owners.
