Whether it is the computer, their cell phones, or their music device, it always seems to be something. However, there are still ways of catching their attention, and one of them only involves a few common items that you would find around the house.
Best of all, it is fascinating, and fun for the whole family. To make your own homemade and miniature magic trick, all you need are a teabag, a lighter and a pair of scissors. Once you are finished, it will almost look like a tiny hot air balloon, fire cracker or rocket!
To begin with, simply cut off the top of the teabag and then empty out the contents. Afterwards, it should look like a tube. The next step is to just place it on a hard surface so that it is is standing up. Finally, simply light the top of the paper tube on for using your lighter.
It will take the flame a few seconds to reach the bottom, but when it does, the air current will force the ashes of the teabag into the air! This little science experiment will be sure to delight your children. Not only that, but it is inexpensive and very easy to do. Just remember to do this far away from anything that may be able to catch on fire. After all, safety is the highest priority.
