Before you can begin, you will need to gather the following items first: chocolate chips, a sauce pan, balloons, a spoon, and parchment paper.
First, melt the chocolate chips in the saucepan on low heat. The chips should melt fairly quickly. Stir the chocolate chips to hasten the process. After the chocolate chips have completely melted, allow them to cool off for a few minutes. This step is extremely important to follow.
Once the chocolate mixture has cooled off, dab little circles of the chocolate throughout the parchment paper. These will serve as the base for the bowls. Then, after the chocolate mixture has cooled off, dip the bottom half of the already blown up balloons into the chocolate. Place the chocolate dipped balloon onto one of the chocolate bases on the parchment paper. Continue this process until all of the bases are topped with a chocolate covered balloon.
Then, place the balloons into the fridge for about 15 minutes or until the chocolate has fully hardened and taken shape. Pop the balloons, and then chocolate bowls are ready. Fill them with ice cream and enjoy.
