VIDEO: He Covers Her With A Blanket. When He Yanks It Away, I Was In Complete Shock!

Australia — Gavin Skinner & Lydia Lim, creators of the Soul Mystique dance and magic routines, gave an indescribably beautiful and exciting performance as the last act of the night during the sixth season of Australia’s Got Talent.

“It takes me longer to button my jack than it does for you two to change your complete outfits,” said one Australia’s Got Talent judge. The speed of their performance and the frequency of the costume changes, including shoes, are part of the magic.

The couple met 1996 during a dance competition and created Soul Mystique in 2004. Their first TV debut was in 2006. Since then, they’ve entertained audiences in the IDSF World Latin Championships in 2008 and at various other setting, including on cruise ships.

Lim designs all their costumes while Skinner works out the technical details as the team’s prop manager. It’s clear from watching their colorful, original, and fast-paced “Quick Change Act” that they’re perfect for each other.

It has taken eight years for Skinner and Lim to perfect their 2-minute professional dance and magic routine.

Some say their act must be seen to be believed, yet viewers say that what the Soul Mystique pair does seems impossible — even though it happens right before their eyes.

“Breathtakingly brilliant at what they do,” said the show’s MC.

The couple hopes that a show in Las Vegas will be part of their future.
