A young woman being charged with possession of drugs got an additional lesson in the courtroom when the judge decided punish her arrogant behavior.
In the viral video, a young woman sits in the courtroom and waits while the judge charges her with possession of xanax bars. The questioning began smoothly as the woman, who had not been charged with prior drug convictions, told about her job that brought in an income of approximately two-hundred-dollars a week and her large collection of jewelry.
The young woman began nervously giggling, tugging at her hair, and twitching during the questioning. When asked about the value of her jewelry, she only laughed and refused to give an approximate price. The judge asked if she has recently taken any drugs, and the young woman replied that she had not.
The judge gave his ruling but, when the young woman smiled and turned to leave after saying “adios”, the judge called her back and doubled her fine, making it ten-thousand dollars. No longer smiling, the young woman gasps and turns to leave, flipping the judge the finger as she walks away and obviously spouting profanity. When he saw her rude gesture, the judge calls her back and imposes an additional sentence of thirty-days in jail. Needless to say, the young woman is not laughing or happy when the three-minute film comes to a close.
After the film stops rolling, the young woman goes on to apologize to the judge and her jail time is dropped.
