Doogle is a rescued Chihuahua that was found living in terrible conditions at a local puppy mill. The Rainbow Wildlife Rescue team in Texas saved Doogle from a terrible fate and fell in love with him instantly.
Similar to many puppies that are found living in terrible conditions at puppy mills, they need some time adjusting to their new surroundings before their true personality can shine. Doogle is just an example of what can happen to a puppy who has been kept in deplorable conditions at a puppy mill for years.
Doogle took a little time to realize that his rescuers were going to be his new family. He was a skittish little guy who was never properly socialized during his years trapped in a small overcrowded cage. During the first few days of being in his new foster home, Doogle had trouble adjusting to people and letting anyone close to him. Then one day, like a switch had been turned on, Doogle suddenly changed his demeanor for his new family. Instantly he transformed into a playful and bouncy pup that you would expect from a dog just brought into the world. In a sense this was a new birth for Doogle, as he must have realized things were looking up for him.
Doogle began to reveal his funny side one day and simply kept at it while camera rolled. He has come a long way since living in that cage with other dogs, and now exhibits a funny and fun side that literally appeared overnight. This just goes to show that with a little love and patience, any rescue dog can make a great addition to your family.
