The owners of a intelligent and charismatic cat named Mulder had a unique problem. Every time they’d shut a door in their home, their sneaky cat was able to leap into the air with great skill to unlock any door. No matter what they tried, their capable kitty managed to find a way to open the doors and break-in. The owners attempted to come up with a solution on their own.
The idea was to place a large container of water in front of the door. Mulder, like most cats is not a fan of water. With a tub of water in front of the door, Mulder’s owners were sure the cat would not even attempt to open any door they placed it in front of. They were completely wrong.
Mulder’s family set up a camera and caught their beloved household pet scoping out the situation and using his cat skills of logic to find a way to unlock the door. Mulder was able to avoid the tub of water by leaping into the air and hanging onto the door handle for a few seconds before jumping back to his starting place in front of the tub of water. With a little effort and practice Mulder was capable of unlocking any door where the tub of water was placed.
Perhaps Mulder’s family should invest in round door knobs. However, with the intelligence of this cat, he’d still probably be able to open the door with little to no effort.
