VIDEO: FINALLY, This Video Reveals What McDonalds Chicken Nuggets Are Really Made Of

Chicken nuggets are the main food item on most children’s favorite lists. The lovable nugget can be dunked or eaten alone. McDonald’s is one of the largest fast food chains around. One of their top selling items is their nuggets. There has been much speculation about what really goes into those nuggets. From videos of pink slime to horrifying tales of mechanical parts, what is inside has been up for debate.

Tyson Chicken is one of the main producers of the famous nuggets. Recently, a concerned citizen visited the plant to see what actually goes into these bite size favorites. There are five facilities that make nuggets for McDonald’s. It all starts with fresh chickens and multiple people cutting them like a butcher. They separate the dark from the white meat and remove all dark. No dark meet goes into the process.

The skin is later added at a small amount for flavor. No beaks or feet are grinded up and put in them. The nuggets are made of 100% chicken. It is grinded coarsely to give it that meaty texture like one would get in a supermarket. It is mixed in a hopper that adds marinating flavors.

The final blended product looks nothing like the “pink slime” pictures that are being passed around. It looks and smells like meet, because it is real meet. Each nugget then goes through a layer of batter and a thin layer of bread. It is covered in celery salt and white pepper. The mystery behind chicken nuggets is solved once and for all.
