VIDEO: Everyone Thought They Messed Up Their Routine, But The Real Reason Is AMAZING

As Ariana Rosado prepares for another NBA season as a Chicago Luvabull, she will easily be the most recognizable cheerleader on her squad. That’s because last year her boyfriend proposed to her in one of the best ways possible.

Last December during a break in action in a game against the Miami Heat, Rosado thought she was going through just another dance routine with her Luvabull girls. But then the music switched mid-routine to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars, and Rosado looked completely lost as the other Luvabulls danced around her. Luckily, the team mascot, Benny the Bull, came to her rescue by directing her to sit in a chair he’d wheeled onto the court. Rosado remained seated as everyone danced around her with the perfect proposal tune playing in the background.

As she continued to look baffled by what was happening around her, her boyfriend — who was hidden among the dancers in an inflatable Benny the Bull suit — prepared to pop the question in front of thousands of fans. He deflated the suit and kneeled in front of her. Rosado could not keep tears of joy at bay. Luvabulls surrounded the couple, eagerly awaiting the big moment.

Rosado’s boyfriend asked the question, and he was rewarded for his elaborate plan as Rosado said, “Yes.” The other dancers enveloped the new fiancés in a group hug, and the audience cheered excitedly. As they walked off the court, Rosado and her fiancé exchanged high fives with the fans.
