When a few Prior Lake, Minnesota students decided to bully an African-American classmate via hate-filled messages on Snapchat, they had no idea that they chose the wrong child to pick on.
The girl’s Caucasian adoptive father, Bradley Knudson, took swift action to cull the racist vitriol directed at his daughter. He videotaped a repulsive Snapchat sent to his daughter’s phone and attempted to contact the parents of the offending teenagers. His phone calls went unanswered and his messages were never responded to.
Fed up with the lack of response, Knudson contacted the local police which set off a snowball of events leading up to Knudson speaking with the father of twin girls involved. The appalling response of the parent was to basically tell Knudson that he didn’t care what his daughters had done and that racist jokes were commonplace in his household.
Knudson then made a video depicting one of the racist Snapchats sent to his daughter. He gives the name of the father of the other girls and plays the voice messages wherein he calls Knudson offensive names and spews the same hatred his twins displayed. The fruit obviously didn’t fall far from the tree in that family. Knudson posted his five minute video online. It has been shared on social media, news programs and has since gone viral.
