VIDEO: Dad Films Young Son Saluting For 90 Minutes, But No One Expects THIS To Visit Him

To pay their respects for the seventieth anniversary of D-Day, a father and son took a trip to Normandy, France. The eleven year old boy stood for an hour and a half on the beach with a world war two flag stuck in the sand next to him. Many people gathered around to watch the stoic, young boy in amazement. People joined in respecting the memory of the day from all around.

Out of nowhere, a trumpeter comes near the boy. To everyone’s tear jerking surprise, the music that came out of the trumpet was “Taps”, the common tune heard during war time and when paying respects for those who have served and died. Moments like this are those that happen and make people find a new respect for the human race.

Heart warming events like the one that happened on Omaha beach that day are moments that people will remember for the rest of their lives.

Everyone had misty eyes watching the event take place. The amount of patriotism shown by such a young boy was staggering. The boy never even moved an inch while paying his respects, gazing out into the ocean, with the exception of wiping away one singular tear.
