In life, there are moments that can change everything. Animals are a precious resource and often need help from human beings.
It is amazing when people can act as heroes to furry little critters that live in the wild. While at the Timbavati Picnic Site in the Kruger National Park in the country of South Africa, some wildlife activists were looking around and then they suddenly saw a small baby squirrel that was in dire need of assistance.
The squirrel had somehow fallen and was hanging from a branch and had become stuck in a thorn. The squirrel would have probably died if not for the good Samaritans.
The group were able to get the squirrel down and then they decided to wrap him in blankets and help to give him some first aid at their camp site.
They gave him some food so that he could stay fed and they made sure that he had shelter and was kept warm. The squirrel is now receiving additional love and care from the individuals involved in the heroic rescue. He even has a new name which is Thorn, the name is very fitting consider that he was stuck in one.
The people involved should be applauded for their efforts as it saved the life of an animal that was too young to help itself out of the dangerous situation.
