VIDEO: And This Is One Of The Reasons Why We Love Obama So Much…

Obama was at his calmest during a recent visit to the New Product Development Lab, located in Boise State University. The lab nearly-famous for its sponsoring of the Fiesta bowl is at the forefront of science – creating and designing products for individuals and scientists across the country.

The President’s visit coincided with his State of the Union Address, an action filled statement encouraging corporations, individuals and immigrants to work together – to help recreate the once great nation of the past. His speech was critically aimed at establishing scientific and intellectual fields at the forefront of the nation’s priorities.

Though his State of the Union Address was far more serious the President was nothing but calm while touring the scientific lab. Intrigues by the many developments within the center and taking the time to talk with the scientists working to create and design new products. He seemed almost giddy as he was given a front row seat to the technology of the future.

Taking time to receive a demonstration from David Estrada on forming microscopic computer chips by utilizing individual strands of DNA. As the demonstration ended and Estrada was informing the President about how students were working with graphene, a type of nano-material—the president quickly examined the material was fascinating –stronger than steel but flexible like paper.

Overall, the visit was a success to further the Presidents goals for scientific innovation and beneficial to the lab for the publicity and interest built from the trip.
