Who doesn’t love a juicy cheeseburger? … Besides vegans and veg-heads, of course. You can order one at practically any restaurant, and they’re an extremely easy meal to cook up at home.
This is a delicious recipe that turns any regular cheeseburger, into a mouth-watering concoction you’ll want to whip up for every occasion. It’s known as the “Diamond burger, . To make it you’ll need:
- 1 lb. of lean ground beef
- 1 tsp of pepper
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of cumin
- 1/2 tsp of smoked paprika
- 1 tsp of mustard powder
- 2 c of diced onions
- 3-4 cloves of minced garlic
- 12 slices of cheddar cheese
- 10 oz can of Ro-Tel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chiles (drained)
- 12 sliced dinner rolls
And for the glaze that will top off cheeseburger party buns, you’ll need:
- 2 Tbsp of brown sugar
- 1/2 c of butter
- 1 Tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp of mustard
- 1 Tbsp of sesame seeds
To get started, preheat your oven to 350°F, and use non-stick spray to coat a 9×13′ baking dish. Place a large skillet on your stove and warm it to high heat. Once the pan is hot, pour the ground beef, salt, cumin, mustard powder, pepper, and paprika straight into it. Stir the ingredients together, and add in the garlic and onion.
Continue cooking until the ground beef has completely browned. The onions should also have a golden appearance. At this point, mix in the drained tomatoes until the food is well blended. In your baking dish, arrange the bottom halves of your dinner rolls. On top of them, arrange your beef and sliced cheddar cheese. Place the top halves of the dinner rolls to complete the sandwiches.
Now, you’ll prepare the glaze by mixing all ingredients at medium heat in a basic sauce pain. Once the mixture has been melted and mixed together, it will be ready for use. Drizzle the glaze over your buns in the baking dish. Finally, slide the baking dish into your oven and set the timer for about 25 minutes.
