Donald Trump is known for making some harsh comments, but his co-chair just called Michelle Obama one of the worst names possible. Carl Paladino is trying his best to make every excuse possible for his actions when he called Michelle a gorilla. He didn’t even apologize for the name that he called her, simply trying to cover up what he did.
The man thinks that it was alright for him to call Michelle a gorilla because the comments weren’t meant for others to hear and that the name was only supposed to be heard by his friends. However, the term got leaked to the media, and most of the country now knows what the co-chair thinks of the First Lady.
Paladino completed a survey that was sent to his friends. He mistakenly hit reply instead of forward when sending the email, so his friends weren’t the only ones who saw the message that he created. He didn’t intend for the comments to be made public.
That doesn’t excuse what he said. He regrets his racist feelings, but he doesn’t regret the remark that he made. Some of the answers that he gave about his predictions for 2017 include President Obama getting mad cow disease and that he wishes Michelle would return to being a male after the family leaves the White House.
