Donald Trump is known for many things, particularly his success in business. However, he is also the least popular candidate for president from the Republican Party. He makes a habit of retweeting messages from fans that he likes. On Thursday, he retweeted a message that reveals his sexism. This is the tweet: “If Hillary Clinton can’t satisfy her husband what makes her think she can satisfy America?”
Basically, Donald Trump thinks that an indiscretion by her husband, not her, makes Hillary an unfit president. This is ironic, considering that recent polls say that 62 percent of American citizens would never vote for Donald Trump. That number has probably grown with this latest action, because now it is likely that no woman who has ever been cheated on will be supporting him.
He did end up deleting the retweet after realizing what it would do to his reputation, but it was too late. People already know about it, and comedian Lenny Jacobson posted a screenshot of the tweet that had been deleted. He may have thought that he could get away with it and people would just forget, but this is not the case. Donald Trump has a history of making sexist comments about female celebrities, a famous one being his rant about Rosie O’Donnell that was deleted from an episode of Entertainment Tonight.
It is disturbing that he would talk like this, but we can rest assured in the fact that he will almost definitely not be the next president.
