Trump Declares His Own Inauguration Date as ‘Day of Patriotic Devotion’

As the whole world watched, on January 20th, 2017, Donald J. Trump became the 45th President of the United States of America. The speech he gave to the public on his Inauguration day was filled with references to patriotism which he likened to a salve that would help to bring the country back together as a whole.

It was also pointed out that parts of his speech were similar to Batman villain Bane’s speech from the film “Dark Knight Rises”, which let’s hope that that is where the similarities between the two will end.

After the new President was sworn in, he took to his new office to begin signing executive actions as his first duty. One of the first executive actions that President Trump signed into action was declaring his Inauguration day as a “National Day of Patriotic Devotion”.

The reason behind the new National Day of Patriotic Devotion is so that the people of the country can strengthen their bonds with each other and their nation as well as reaffirm what the duty of the government is to the public, according to the new President.

The paperwork to make National Day of Patriotic Devotion official was filed on January 23rd, 2017 with the federal government.
