Tom Hanks has been married to his wife Rita for an amazing 27 years. He was recently asked about what makes his marriage untouchable, to which Hanks responded, that the reason he and his wife have been together for so long is because they got married for the just the right reasons.
He says that that there was something extra special about Rita when he first laid eyes on her and they just sort of clicked, and decided to get married. When Tom was asked about what those right reasons were, he stated that he was not sure about what those reasons were, he and his wife just liked each other.
Many claim that marriage is a lot of hard work, however Tom disagrees with that statement. Tom says that there are a lot of things that can get in the way of a person’s joy and happiness, but the love that he and his wife have for each other make it easy for them to get through life’s inevitable storms.
Tom says, life is hard but having somebody to come home to makes things a lot easier. Rita recently Tweeted saying that she is more in love with her husband now than ever before. Good Job Tommy boy, you just scored some major points with the misses.
