Children are very attached to their parents, and saying goodbye, however temporarily, can be be difficult for them. Recently, a little boy gave his father a three-minute send off as he was leaving for work. His mother recorded the event and shared it online, where it has been viewed over one million times.
The beginning of the video showed the boy, wearing only a diaper, being coaxed off the front porch by his father. The child was reluctant but eventually walked to his dad and gave him a hug. After that point, the boy broke in a chorus of “I love you!” and kept repeating it over and over as his father walked down the driveway and got into the car. Once dad drove away, the boy stood by the street and continued waving, saying goodbye and telling him to be careful driving.
The father spotted his son still standing in the driveway, stopped his vehicle and came back for one final hug. He then gently directed the boy back toward the house and his mother. As the boy walked back to the porch, he turned and kept saying his goodbyes as his father’s car disappeared from view.
While this was only one morning out of a lifetime, it will always be remembered fondly by the boy’s parents.
