With tight, exacting harmonies, soaring melodies, and rich, dynamic orchestration, the amazing male vocal trio, Gentri, has released their “Patriotic Medley” music video in time to celebrate America’s Independence Day and to honor the United States military.
Based in Utah, the gentlemen trio demonstrate their signature sound and style. Their other recordings are mostly original material. Here they have mined the core of traditional romantic american patriotism.
The medley begins with an inspiring arrangement of “America The Beautiful”. Short moving images of gorgeous american landscapes and monuments are intercut with snippets of the trio and orchestra in their recording session. Two of the three gentlemen take turns with the quiet opening melody before the three sing together on the first “America”. We hear the close-harmony vocals they have perfected and are known so well for. Interestingly, for their verses, they have chosen a couple of them that are less familiar. Take a close listen; you may be hearing them for the first time.
The second and concluding piece is “God Bless America”. Here the orchestral rhythms begin to move more and more, combined with the gentlemen building musically and emotionally along with them. As the music reaches its thrilling climax, the visuals focus more on the american flag and on portraits of the people to whom the music and imagery is given.
