This Rare Lion Was In Terrible Pain. What They Did To Help Him That Risked Their Own Lives? Wow

Generally, when people think of lions, they think of majestic and.powerful creatures that live up to their reputations as the kings of the jungle. One of the defining factors of a lion’s identity is his bite. This makes sense because they are predators in close to the top of the food chain, and they need to have potent and strong bites in order to occupy their rightful places in the animal kingdom.

Aslan was a nine year old white lion male who was struggling both physically and emotionally after he had lost two of his canines. He had become notably aloof and had isolated himself from the rest of the pride, and he was aggressive when he had the chance to interact with other lions.

Kevin Richardson is an animal behaviorist who is referred to as the “Lion Whisperer,” and he took it upon himself to help Aslan in the way that he needed. He teamed up with other professionals to do an operation on this lion and restore his bite back to normal. Richardson said that without his bithe, Aslan was not really a lion anymore as far as his own pride was concerned, and this needed to be fixed in order to not only alleviate a great deal of pain, but restore his identity as a lion as well.

They conducted a six hour operation to fix his bite, and then released him out into the wild with his teeth and identity restored for a happy, full life.
