Some people think that animals don’t have feelings. The Pit Bull is a breed of dog that gets a lot of looks and comments because people have portrayed them as being mean. Brinks is a Pit Bull that was walking along the streets of Brooklyn. He bumped into a man named Job who was walking his dog Demo.
Jon took to Brinks right away. He decided to take Brinks to his mom until he could find a permanent place for him to stay or until he found the owner of the dog. Jon checked flyers in the town and called the local shelter for over a month.
He soon realized that he wasn’t going to be able to find the owner or anyone else who would take Brinks in their home. When Jon found Brinks, the dog was 11 months old. It’s been 12 years since Brinks went home with Jon, and he is still smiling in pictures that are posted on social media sites.
There is a beautiful picture of Brinks on Jon’s wall in his living room. Brinks enjoys sitting on the couch and playing with Jon. He smiles from ear to ear because he has a new home where he’s comfortable and loved.
