This GOP Congressman Just Made The Most Racist Statement We’ve Heard In A Long Time

DeKalb County, Georgia – GOP Congressman Fran Miller is upset that this populous voting precinct will have an early voting day. In particular, the site for the early voting effort is in close proximity to several large African-American mega churches and a popular shopping mall with African-Americans.

At issue is the fact that Miller believes the Black vote is largely dictated to them by the Democrat Party so that an “early voting” day is tantamount to having polls open longer for a key Democrat demographic.

Miller took to Facebook to denounce the practice and the location. He claimed he would prefer to see more educated voters participate in electoral process over more African-American Christians.

Again, the likely underlying premise for Miller is likely that Blacks do not think for themselves and vote instinctively for Democrats. While African-Americans would be swift to deny such claims, it is also true that they are swift to denounce African-Americans voting for the GOP as not being “Black”, being “white washed”, or being “Uncle Toms”.

Regardless of the reasons or motivations anyone has to vote, it is an undeniable right. Congressman Miller has no right to favor one voting group over another. The political Left is claiming that by making his statement, he is not working for African-Americans in his voting district. That is an interesting claim given the fact that under President Obama, the unemployment rate for Blacks is at its worst level since deep into the Carter Administration. By that most important metric, neither is Obama working for African-Americans.
